After some time off we are back with some great stuff:  the huge dancefloor shaker ‚Faith‘ from Oldschool-House aficionado Borrowed Identity is back with two massive remixes from Monkey Maffia and Thomas Stieler both from the Freude am Tanzen Crew.“Faith“, starts laidback, but on the dancefloor it is huge monster! Smooth keys and soothing vocals paired with a straight kick, thriving drums and a perfect snair to top it off .

The highly anticipated vinyl release in september brings together material from 6 new producers; Borrowed Identity & The Mechanical Soulbrother, Liquid Phonk and Frederick Block and Eiskaltes Haendchen. They all share one thing, their heritage: the region of Breisgau.

With his modern, inspired by Detroit & New Jersey style house vibes, this talented young french DJ/Producer is fast becoming a hot name on the house scene…

“This EP is heavily inspired by my time spent in Seoul, South Korea, and especially these amazing minutes, when at night, you cross the Han River – by the Hannam Bridge – feeling how wide & impressive the river & the whole city are… and suddenly you would like to stop the time and to have this Nightride to last endlessly…” Fulbert

Fulbert isn’t falling into a category of producers that are writing music because it’s on trend, he’s all about a deep rooted, heartfelt love of house.

Ney Faustini completes the half-dozen on Foul & Sunk, celebrating the dawn of the dark season with an EP whose three pieces will provide relaxation, energy and joy on the dance floors.

Born and raised in the Brazilian metropolis of Sao Paolo, Faustini begins his biography with fast music and broken beats, before his path led him to deep, bouncing house music. Maybe it’s the British bass music, maybe it’s the endless view over his city to the Atlantic Ocean that he used as a source of inspiration for this loosely woven, barely tangible tapestry of sound, that lines the background of his three pieces „Sleepless“, „The Name Of The Game „and“ No More Chances“.
This giving the EP its meditative character, Faustini reinforces it all with prancing percussion on „No More Chances“, as well as warm piano and organ keys in the background of „The Name of the Game“. But the „Sleepless EP“ doesn’t limit itself to head dance music: an organic bass groove flows through all three pieces,  stimulating our energy cycle with pulsating pressure. This comes to its full potential in the eponymous title track, and is truly the motto of Foul & Sunk: Quality music for your dancefloor.

After our third release from Paskal & Urban Absolutes, which is still in the stores and spinning, there’s something BIG coming along in April – our friends from Bern (CH), Jagged, have sent us some great work! Deep, rolling and stomping tunes, that will definitely rock you on many floors this summer!
Here’s the sneak preview on one of the tracks of our 4th release, Eriswil by Jagged:

We would love to say: Fresh & Low are back! Although that would be somewhat brisk, this timeless release from the year 1997 has absolutely everything it deserves to be released again.

From the mid-90s on, the British producer team Fresh & Low brought out many outstanding records on leading labels such as „Guidance,“ „Black Vinyl“ and „CrucialSounds“. And one of their best and most important one was undoubtedly the ground-breaking „Little i EP“, released on Westside Records. Four essential tracks of timeless house music make this masterpiece still sound as good and fresh as it sounded almost 15 years ago!

Of particular note are the two compelling pieces „New Life“ and „No Going Back“, that evolve into true peak-time anthems by their slow buildup, with deep warm chords, sparse vocal fragments and their driving, punchy beat! Nevertheless, the other two tracks do not have to hide behind it with their very special kind of raw and still very melodic style.

A House EP, as fresh as today’s, yet from the good old days!

The 12″ vinyl will be in stores on September 28th. 2011, so get your copy while supplies last, and, while waiting, enjoy the tunes here:
